of child abuse and neglect in Tarrant County in 2010.

• In 2010, there were 6,222 confirmed victims
of child abuse and neglect in Tarrant County.

• In 2010, there were 18 child fatalities related to child abuse and neglect
in Tarrant County, the 2nd highest of all counties in the state.

• Last year, expenditures related to foster care cost $20,316,276
in Tarrant County alone.

 

Child abuse and neglect affect all of us, and we all have a role to play in preventing child abuse and neglect. We are all partners in prevention!
